He wasn't saying, I hate country so much it should be banned from radio stations/music channels/CD stores all over the world! He was just saying he doesn't like it.
"Chicken Pickin," is really cool. Bluegrass is awesome as well. Straight up country music doesn't really keep my intrest though. I do love the banjo though.

Well you could apply that formula to all music Rap, Rock, Emo
Yeah the more i think about it the more i guess you could substitute country for any other genre of music, but i think that country (emphasis modern) music is gettign a little stale. I hear a song about booze and whatnot and i see my grandpa just kind of shake his head in disbelief. he always talks to me about how country music was awesome when he listened to it. i feel bad for the older folks who have to deal with the new cultures...but yeah country music gets annoying after a while..
i mean i can stand a few martina mcbride songs, and one of my all time favorite songs is by alan jackson, but i turn on kicks country 101.5 on my radio and the lyrics go somethign like this:
we were at the mcdonalds and my boy got a happy meal he was eating his chicken tendersss then he stepped on his toe and said a bad word..
the rest of the song is about his kids cussing and how he didnt raise them to be like that. i mean GIVE ME A BREAK

Country isn't exactly my thing, but there's plenty of good country out there.
