There are no covers that are better than the original. That being said the Beatles cover of Twist & Shout is my favorite cover ever.

I liked the cover of Killing Me Softly by Lauryn Hill and the Fugees more than the original by Roberta Flack. No offense to Flack (love the original too), but the Fugees added more energy to it in my opinion.
