I'm being trained at my new place of work in a dollar store. Most of the time it's the manager training me, telling me what to do. It's been twice that this other guy "helps" me out, and gives me false information. For example, the manager tells how to stock cans of soft drinks, leaves me on my own to do it, then this other guy comes and tells me to do it a different way...WTF??
Today, here's something else that happened. There's a code to open one of the Employees-Only section of the store. It's a few number followed by a star. This same guy tells me that I need to press the star first. So I was alone in that section and then when I tried open the door using the door, the alarm rings, and then another guy tells me that I had to press the star last.
Should I report this guy giving me false information if it happens again? Is he trying to get me fired or what? I would tell a manager nicely about it, saying I don't mean to pick on him or tattle, but it's really affecting my job.
