I currently have a Rogers SMC Router/Modem in my basement that can't be moved. In my two story house, i get little to no signal in the upstairs. I have a D-Link router that I don't use. Is their any way to make that a wireless access point in my upstairs so I can just connect to the D-Link and get a decent signal? Any help would be appreciated, I am in college and it's a pain in the @#$

you can run an ethernet cable from the modem upstairs and have the router upstairs to provide the wireless access w/ a better signal.
