Well recently i tried to turn my Creative Zen on, but as the title reads, it won't turn on. When i flick the power switch, the blue light flashes - but only for an instant and then nothing. The player won't turn on.
When i plug it into my laptop, the usual consistent blue light flashing on and off works as it usually does (charging) but my laptop won't recognise that the player is plugged in. Even when I go to the media player and to 'My Zen', it tells me to plug in my device, although it is already plugged in.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Get a mechanical pencil and stick it in the little "reset" thingy. Look for where it is in the manual.

Woah...THANK YOU! I've tried that several times before but it has had no luck until now. That saves me €200 for an iPod. Perhaps it will go to better use for a PS3? ;)

My friend has to reset his Zen every couple days because it freezes, so I know all about it. :P

Yeah mine freezes sometimes. If all else fails, plug it into the computer and reset it to default settings, I've had to do it a couple times:x.

That's why I always keep a paperclip handy. Never no when something electronic is going to need to be reset.
