Digimon the Movie. That is easily my favorite animated movie. I liked it because it was different and cool at the same time. And who cares what a bunch of old geezers (critics) think of a kids movie anyway.

like that guy who said Digimon im also going to have to go with Pokemon the 3rd movie, it was AMAZING. The first one, not so much. I dont understand how the moral of the movie is fighting is bad but yet you train little monsters to beat the hell out of each other? Other than that Mewtwo vs Mew is still pretty kick ass. I also love the first power rangers movie, also home alone 2 and some others I enjoyed alot as a kid. While not great now, I know theyre bad but I get a good kick out of them.

But there are alot as a kid Ive watched that I see now and they make me want to vomit. Jingle all the way anyone? Ugh

There are tons.

Tideland- This is one of my favorite Terry Gilliam films, it is dark and twisted but great too.

Running Scared- Paul Walker was good in this.

Death Sentence

The 13th floor

Just off the handful of DVDs I can see on the top of my shelf across the room: -Sahara. Silly, yes, ridiculous, of course. Fun? Oh yeah. -After the Sunset. Yes, it's not a good movie, but I love it. Woody and Brosnan have great chemistry, Salma has great breasts, what's not to like? -Equilibrium. Did this one get panned? I forget what its critical reception was, just that everyone I know seems to hate it. They're crazy.

I agree. I was really surprised at how much I liked the movie, despite some stupid things about it, it's pretty intense. I also agree about Paul Walker, this movie showed me he can actually create a solid performance, if only he'd do more roles that put him on the spot like that.

Death Sentence was horrible though (despite an interesting tracking shot through a garage).

Actually, I saw a little bit of it on youtube recently (the Digimon movie), and it really surprised me how good the animation looked in the movie. The camera work in the city battle with the two giants in the beginning looked really good, remined me of the camera movements in live action flicks like Transformers.

It was a bit cliche, but it had a great shootout at the end and Kevin Bacon is awesome. Better than The Brave One anyway.

The most recent one I've seen is Escape Me Never with Ida Lupino. I enjoyed the film so much that I saw it twice in one week.

Rob Zombie's Halloween remakes weren't very well recieved by critics but I like them.

EDIT: Oh and I can't belive I forgot this, but John Carpenter's Big Trouble In Little China was panned by pretty much every critic in existence but it still remains one of my favorite movies of all time. They just didn't get it I guess :?.

Dead Snow

We may not agree on twilght, but at least we agree that Dead Snow was a good movie:D That battle at the end with the 2 guys with the chainsaw and the hammer was awesome. I think it was better than Zombieland personally, if you like Dead Snow you should check out Pontypool.

To be honest, it was so good because it was Hilarious XD I would post a gif but I dont know if its too graphic lol. Just alot of things on that movie came off really funny because we were watching it at 4-5 in the morning with a bunch of cousins.
