Crosswalks

Lets say you are on your way home from dinner, its a perfect day to have a walk so you decide to walk home. You get to the first crosswalk and you see one or two cars driving down the road, just as you get to the edge of the sidewalk the cars pull up. Do you continue to walk through without thinking about it, stop to see if they wave you on, or do you pretend to tie your shoe or pretend to walk down the other side of the street then walk across when the car goes, or do you wave people to go first?

No way am I letting the cars get the better of me when I'm strollin. Just because they weigh 2 tons and I'm just a fleshy meatbag doesn't mean I can't assert my dominance!

At least, that's what I tell myself when I'm crossing the 7 lanes of 2-way traffic to get to my school.

I just let them go. I have really low self esteem and i walk strange infront of other cars.
