anyone see this movie, and what did you think? Personally, I enjoyed it. I then saw the Sequel, "Hypercube" and thought it was ok, a different concept. But then I saw the Prequel "Cube Zero", and man was this bad. What's weird is that most people I know prefer Cube Zero to Hypercube, but why? Atleast Hypercube had the guy with the knife, he was entertaining, but everyone in Cube Zero was bland, cept maybe that one eyed guy.

HOLY CATS. I liked the movie - although it annoys me to no end that Resident Evil ripped off the grid cutting scene (but with lasers) and everyone gives it credit for being first. I didn't mind the sequels, although to be honest I also don't remember much about them.

I can't remember which cube movies I've seen, but I liked the ones I saw. They were like Saw minus most of the gore and gruesome scenes, which is what I dislike about Saw. I remember watching one where the mentally handicapped guy was the only one to survive, which made me both happy and a little sad, because from what I remember he would have been too handicapped to communicate what had happened to him, had he even understood it as it happened. I also seem to remember the near-end of one movie, where they were at the edge of the cube and reaching for a door, and one guy threw a girl down I think because he wanted to live and didn't care if she did or not. That was sad.

I don't see why anyone would give them credit for doing it first, the director even says in the RE commentary that they took the idea from Cube. Cube for me was amazing and scary at the same time, Cube 2 was a big step backwards but it was still pretty good (although confusing). Cube zero was a complete waste of time, two different actors that we're supposed to believe is the same character from the first movie.

I wonder if Saw drew anything from Cube...
