The opposite is true of employees too. Monsters of vanity, they truly are; they are spiders weaving their webs only to entangle fools with conflict.

My interpretation of this can be reflected by the mirror that shows one and all what is obvious. The reflection damages business. But what purpose is there to scold and belittle the common man? For why else has the common mob hunger critique; what ought to be, rather than what is?

The fools think of themselves highly, assuming that everyone else is mediocre----their attempts to fit an image accepted amongst the delusional living within an illusive world of lies and deception is reality.

The more outspoken, vague, and tyrannical the person, the better! This generation lust despotism. The whore of babylon has truly conquered her empire.

That's not always true... I've encountered extremely nice and understanding customers. When I stated to a customer that we ran out of a certain product near closing, they tend to understand and order something else. Sometimes there are customers who are rude but it's extremely rare from where I work so maybe it depends on the location.

Also, sometimes employees can be a$$holes and I've encountered many of those. Sometimes though I get the feeling that I'm bit of an a$$hole.
