I've always been into DDR, but it seems a bunch of people are into ITG, and I really don't know why. Nothing compares to the great sound and clear screen that SuperNOVA has.

Why isn't anyone voting?! Both games are very popular - I thought this would be a successful thread!

~-~I got DDR a little while ago and I hate the damn thing.:) So hows ITG? Does the game provide little to no feed back and have menus that seam like are from the NES days? I'm sorry, I don't mean to insult the game you like. It just feels like the management thought they could save money on Devs and just design the game themselves. I'm still in the middle of my first Game Design class and I could think of a ton of things to make that game better.~-~

I've acutally never played ITG, but when I go to the arcade, I see people hogging the damn thing when DDR SuperNOVA is just sitting there all lonely. SuperNOVA has a much better, clear screen, with much better sound. I've played the original DDR on the arcade machine/PS1 when it came out, then there was a period of a couple of years when I wasn't into it, then, after that, I started really getting into it, and have never played on another dance machine.

I'm good at DDR (play on heavy) but I've never played ITG or heard any songs, they got it at my local arcade recentley so I should have an opportunity to play it soon. I've heard its good though.

which one did you get? DDRMAX? they've updated the game alot since then if thats a the case, my favourite layout is in Max2 and I suggest you pick that up (if your still willing to try DDR).

~-~Nope, I got SuperNOVA. Maybe I didn't like it because I played Guitar Hero first and that game I loved. I think it spoiled me cuz that's what I keep comparing DDR to.~-~ ~-~PS: Lol, I just voted for the other one for the fun of it and I seam to be the only one.:P~-~

I prefer pump it up cause they have better selections of music and more colors and clarity than DDR could possibly have. Plus you have the Xbx version you can import your songs off the harddrive and import into the game and custom edit steps.
