Dating before college?

So i'm a straight A student. Always studying. I feel lonely sometimes. No girlfriend.

Is a girlfriend important in high school? Or stick to studies?

I managed to stay a straight A student when I began dating, partying etc... That doesn't mean you'll feel satisfied one you ahve a girlfriend/more friends either. Often they just cause more problems.

You can get a girlfriend and still keep your studies up, time management is the main thing.

Honestly, I too was in that situation. I was so lonely (no roommate) that I couldn't concentrate on studying.tjoeb123

Perhaps a girlfriend would be a nice way of decreasing the excess stress behind your studies, I feel the same way as you do, I have been waiting for a girl to ask me out because whenever I try to ask a girl out my entire reputation is ruined, that's what happend to me in middle school.

It all comes down to what kind of person you are, if you can handle balancing school and a relationship, why not? I met my girlfriend before

I went to college and I'm still with her. I won't lie sometimes the relationship can get in the way of school, but ultimately it's nothing that can't

be managed (in my case anyway). To be honest I don't see why you shouldn't give it a try, it's not that eccentric.

these people are crazy, my high school years were the best cuz i had crazy friends and mad girl friends. its the funnest time of your life dont let grades take over your life.

youll never be able to get these years back, dont miss out on a life time of memories because of grades. ive had so many stories from high school that once and a while me and my boys get together and party and talk about all the insane stuff we did. it was that awesome.

you have plenty of time to get a good job and having straight A's wont help you any more then straight B's, but waking up when your thirty and realizing that you missed out on life will be a bummer.
