Dating Scene/Emo girls...

Well the reason I make this topic is beacuse my girlfriend is some kind of scene/emo or I don't know, she has some parts (little parts) of her hair dyed red/blue but she has her hair naturally brown, she also listens to mainly: pop, screamo, deathcore, metalcore, electronic and stuff like that, she likes many things that scene kids like.

The thing is that she is scene/emo and I am more like a metalhead (if I can call myself one) well I don't have long hair cause my hair gets pretty crappy when I let it grow, and I listen to mainly metal and subgenres of the same, for example some of the bands that I listen mainly to are: anthrax, cannibal corpse, Lazarus AD, slayer, Risen to reclaim and Suicide Silence (I know this one is deathcore but I like it), my friends ask me how can we be together if we are so different? they tell that I'm more agressive (in a good way) and energetic, and that she is very emotional and happy, I've been with her for 2 years and I like how she is even tho we have different tastes in music and different attitudes, we both are 19 and I love her, she says that I'm pretty different from the guys she has dated (she has dated mainly emo guys) because she says that I'm more "unpredictable" or some **** I don't know. So my question is: Have you ever dated girls that are like emo or scene and if you have... how was it? did people criticize you or something? was it a good relationship?

I had a fling with one a couple years ago, and I found her to be just...fake. I also know a handful of women as friends who take that route. I mean, we act cool together and all, but I don't trust em. Their whole personality just seems like a bunch of bull. My advice is stay the hell away from 'em if you're talking about something serious. Bunch of chameleons.

Long as she doesn't have any piercing's that bother you while kissing, and as long as she doesn't start smoking (a lot of them do), you'll be fine.

Alright dude, if you love her, and things are going good. than don't worry about it. Who gives a f*ck what she is? Aslong as you love her.

Now, for me, I'm curently dating an Emo girl. And I can say she's the best Girl friend I've had. She is very emotional, happy, cute, and fun to be around. I'm happy with her, so I don't really care if she is Emo, or a Pretty girly girl. ( But I seem to get along with the Emo, since I'm pretty much emo ).

I found out Emo/scene typ of girls can sometimes be the best typ to date. Now, some, can be pretty f*cking weird, so there is a limit. But they are usually just emotional, and loving, caring.

Bottom line, look past what they look like. if you love her personality, then stay with her.
