Daughter starves while mother plays online games.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – A New Mexico woman has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the death of her young daughter, who withered away from malnutrition and dehydration while the mother spent hours chatting and playing World of Warcraft online.

I lose more faith every day reading this kind of junk.

I'm sure, like someone once said, they just threw in World of Warcraft for shock value.

i think that certain people should go under intense psychological evaluations before having kids and some should just not have kids period

For all we know she is suffering from some psych condition.. Extreme addiction of a activity is usually signs for something under the surface that is the true cause.. Now this by no means makes them innocent, I think its more tragic more than anything else.. For both the daughter and the mother.

I mean given that she didn't herself die of dehydration, she must have been getting things to eat and drink... she couldn't have taken the time to get something for her daughter during that period of detachment from the computer?

Replace the word "love" with (insertwords that would get me modded here). You would be surprised how may women I've met with kids who don't even know who the father is because they literally been with that many different guys.
