Daybreakers (trailer)

Oh, this is genre filmmaking at its most sexiness. The second offering from the Spierig Bros. (made the flawed but still very fun little-funded Undead). Daybreakers is pretty much one of those films that I would love even if everyone else hates if it even delivers on half of what it's premise promises. Story being the world is populated by vampired who keep humans in blood-harvesting centers with a small band of free-humans hiding out and fighting the good fight.

Looks really good. I like the whole set up with harvesting humans, definitely a different take on vampire stories.

Same here but only because Zombieland has the zom-com vibe to it. Daybreakers I've been waiting to see since it was announced that the Spierig Bros/ were doing it almost a couple years ago. That's how long this thing has been in production.

Plus, it has Willem Dafoe the Vampire-Hunter.

I see Zombieland as being a fantastic experience in the theater with a group of friends.

Daybreakers looks interesting but it could go either way I think.

That trailer made me feel like I saw the whole movie....
