i actually just watched it yesterday. it was alright, and if your a Death Note fan i would recomend watching it, but other wise no. the acting is pretty bad with the exception of L who imo the actor they chose was perfect.

L looked weird when i actually saw the movie. The person who played Light was a good actor and ryuk looked awesome ..and the acting was not bad....wanna watch a bad movie based off a manga watch Devilman...oh my jesus the horror....
How so? I enjoyed the ending. [spoiler] Ryuk appears behind Light with a large wicked grin. He whips out his death note and kills Light just like he promised [/spoiler] I thought it was quite fitting.
