Actually the world will never end because the true thing that will happen is that the entire solar system will pe caught in a time parrellel and eveytime the world is about to be turned to whatever(fusion bomb,astroid,apocalypse,etc.), the solar system will go back in time and will continue on... How do we know this isn't already happening...By the way I thought this up while writing it...
It will be an interesting year. I doubt the news makes a big deal about it (the kids)...but people will be nervous...expect some security issues in the days prior to the 21st. I'd even say marshall law will be declared for the entire month of december.
NO it's not the end of the worl but I do believe that something will happen that will affect us all. I heard that in Dec. 2012 the earth will allign with a supermassive blackhole or something and that this will cause large weather changes and disasterous hurricanes and sh1t.

Well im sure something is gonna happen Dec. 21, 2012. So many theories, can you honestly believe that every single one of those is incorrect? The world may not end on that day but something is gonna change our lives, thats for sure.
