Denver being proactive, shutting down schools and libraries.

I know I just made a thread on this, but I'm not seeing it... It'll probably show up again later. Got to love GS glitches.

They made the announcement to close DPS (Denver Public Schools) yesterday and they closed five library branches yesterday. I was predicting they were going to make the call today and close the rest of the branches, and they did, so starting 3/16, we'll be closed until further notice. I know some may call this an overreaction, but if the kids will just stay home, that will slow the spread considerably.

Anything your cities are doing in preparation of/handling an outbreak?

Yeah I just found out Chicago and all Illinois public/private schools will be closed for 2 weeks.

Schools are closed for 3 weeks in Manitoba and Ontario.

@PSP107: no one seems to care in my area. Everyone is more focused on finding hand sanitizer or toilet paper.

My district just announced four week closure, including spring break

Lucky for me I moved 20 minutes just outside of Seattle, Washington,(USA) right before the outbreak. Schools closed until at least April 24th, but I don't have kids. As of now, school is still in session in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA).

Apparently working on vaccines.
