depression, sadness, etc

hello ot. liberalus here. we all have been depressed b4. what things have made u suffer from depression? how do u guys get thru these periods of sadness?

every once in a while, i feel sad and such that ive never really had a gf and dont really see myself getting one at all. usually lasts like a day then goes away.

I think if I have enough time to come here and complain about being depressed things must not be too bad. Also I like to remember all I have. Not long ago i got an infection and before antibiotics I might have died so it's good I'm still here to have the opportunity to complain how bad life is.

Anywhoo, go through the phase for a day or so, make up a back up plan, and move on. Rejection hurts and if anyone disagrees, you're an idiot or you never really wanted it, whether it's that job or that girl.

Basically it's okay to feel hurt but move on. Try again next time or something.

I don't really get depressed nowadays, I just get lonely every now and then. Sometimes I get anxious in certain situations and I end up thinking myself into a frenzy.
