Describe "the Good Ole' Day's of OT"

or the Golden Age, whatever it is, to us youngsters of OT, for I do not understand. Was it better? What were the topics like? Maybe just describe your ideal OT. Was everyone agreeable? Religion topics? Were the YLYL's endless? Did you roll on floor laughing, or laugh your ass off? Or did you simply just Laugh Out Loud. I fancy a time capsule OT!

It was more... fun. More interesting people, and better topics in OT. And some crazy threads, I still remember the "Bra" thread. It was a party...

It's been pretty good, but now it's getting pretty damn boring. The threads are getting bland and it's the "who are the coolest posters in OT". Who cares?

i forget but he was mad about something and spammed OT with "fur is murder" and other ALF crap.and the mods finally had enough. i think he was suspended right before that incident

Yeah..He kept spamming OT with that, then he got suspended. Then he posted while suspended. He thought he was awesome..but then got banned haha.

It was more random and less serious. There was a good balance of real discussion and just hilarity. YLYL, religion, and girl threads were few. This was also a time where posters got away with more "grey area" behavior. There were more threads and posters too, at all hours, and it seemed like everyone just had more fun than they do now.

There were also more art threads and some photography threads. I miss the old community. There are those who have been here longer than I though so there is a lot more I missed.

I remember him. He loved animals and wanted to join the ALF. Good thing I was around while he was still here because his threads were hilarious. :lol:

I was here during the 'golden days'...The users now are just as fun...It is as if older users look at them as some sort of disease.

The best thing about old school OT, and I'm talking old, old school OT, was that there were way less serious threads and a lot more randomness. It was a place where certain threads could gain a sort of legendary status. Apart from that, not much has changed.allnamestaken
