...Until Showtime inevitably ruins it next season, anyway. The only thing worse than the way Showtime runs its shows into the ground is how much money it makes off it.

No surprise, it is one of Showtime's most popular shows. I just hope Dexter doesn't end up becoming like Weeds in that it just drags on and continues for the sake of it..

I thought it got way past that point in season 5, especially since they were unable to follow through with season 4's finale, which I knew they wouldn't. I haven't really kept up with the new season, and have lost interest in doing so.

My only problem with the show is that it hasn't evolved its fromula in quite some time. Nothing is being added. I think it's time Deb finds out about Dexter or something else that really changes the show. It's very good but it will become boring very soon

OT, but I really, really like your sig. It seems like everytime I see you post, I get to hunt for any reference to The National :).

Anyway, Dexter needs to end with a bang. They need to do a Breaking Bad and know when to call it quits, but I'm afraid the show is already past the point of no return.

Seriously they have to stop telling people they are getting renewed for more seasons, its like now we know whats going to happen the season finale
