Dexter is a TV series on Showtime (18+ adults only) about a twisted serial killer who kidnaps and kills other serial killers. If you haven't seen it yet, don't read the spoiler (about the season finale) cause it'll ruin this awesome series for you.
I'm really curious to know what you guys felt (happy / sad / etc...) when Dexter was murdering his brother Bryan?
Mystery_WriterI really don't see all the fuss about Dexter; I watched the whole season and there are some good points but certainly not enough to justify the critical adulation I see it getting. Serial killers as pop culture phenomenon kind of peaked over a decade ago, and the guy who plays Doakes is so ridiculously over the top that I am sorely tempted to skip over his scenes. The "dark humor" feels pretty forced to me, and the godawful monologues go past purple prose into ultraviolet. I doubt I'll be tuning in for season 2.
i thought dexter was about a boy genius... :|jimmy-flyMe too... That brings back some old memories. :P
Dexter's Laboratory = My soul force... next to Invader Zim. However, they should do a show about Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. brokenaria86
Fairly Odd Parents actually can make me laugh when I watch it with my niece.

Although TV production is getting good in general. But I like the change these controversial concepts brings to the table. It's like American Psycho or Lolita (the movies) but having the lead character walk free at the end.

I thought this was about the adult version of Dexter's Laboratory! I wasn't the only one.
And this thread got off-topic and went to a cartoon discussion. :P
