There are a lot of memes around the internet of Bear Grylls drinking pee. Has he actually done this, or is it all just a joke?

[QUOTE="Pirate700"]Its probably legit. He ate a whole Yak eyeball once. Stuck it right in his mouth. He chewed it. That's all we know.On his show almost nothing is real. He drank what was supposed to be his pee, but who knows. It was probably gatorade.

A lot of people think you would die if you drank pee but people do this to improve their health apparently.
All I know is Bear Grylls is the last person you want to take advice from in those situations. I remember one episode he climbed a freaking waterfall without harnesses, why would you climb a waterfall in a situation like that? He said something like it would 'save time'.
it does save time, because you die instantly when you fall and hit your head. :DAll I know is Bear Grylls is the last person you want to take advice from in those situations. Where is Dual Survival? That show was even better than Survivorman. Was it cancelled?[QUOTE="mrmusicman247"]I don't care for Bear Grylls either way. I want my Dual Survival back. Pirate700
Apparently it's making it's Season 2 return April 22ndLook in the left column. If it is, it's a wonderful day-before birthday present.
I guess some of them doesn't knows who is he.
He is the host in Man vs. Wild ( Discovery Channel )
I seen him drunk his pee in a desert.
He said this is the best way to keep yourself alive if you couldn't find any water in the desert.
[QUOTE="Pirate700"]Are you serious? Do you have some proof to back up your claim? His methods, are unorthodox, and flashy in a way, therefore they cant be real. Or that is the kind of logic 40 year olds have.On his show almost nothing is real. He drank what was supposed to be his pee, but who knows. It was probably gatorade.

IDK, and how many bears could Bear Grylls grill if Bear Grylls could grill bear? For a fact I know he could grill bears.

I would say yeah probably. I have seen the man drink whatever water he could from an elephant turd, so I wouldn't even be phased from learning that he drank his own pee.
Don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised. If you're stranded somewhere without water, drinking your own urine can be a lifesaver.
Wasn't there an earthquake like a decade ago, and the people that survived were the ones willing to drink their urine?
