Yea, Its a cool Mag. Although try the "PLAY" Mag. They have good reviews and anime sections.

I enjoyed my game informer subscription when i had it. The reviews imo were awful, although i still read them. but the various coverage they had on games, art contests, wierd gaming items, and all the random stuff kept it interesting.

I'm not a fan of the reviews, but it's still a worthwhile magazine to read in your spare time

Probably the best video game mag on the market right now. I miss Gamefan though...

I don't know if it's just me, but I find gaming magazines to be obsolete. I can use the internet in which I can receive more detailed information in a much better amount of time whether than having to wait a month.

You get a subscription to that with the price of a membership at Gamestop, which I believe is $15 a year now.

Well, that's probably how you got a subscription to it, but how did it end up being 2 years then?

Anyway, yeah, it's a good magazine and surprisingly doesn't insult your intelligence like Gamestop itself seems to like to try to do pretty often. ;)

I don't subscribe to gaming magazines anymore, I figure I can get the same information on the Internet for free.

I don't get the point of gaming magazines, all the news, previews, and reviews are on the internet weeks before the magazine is issued.

They usually have good previews and pictures, and I'll read when they come and all. I wouldn't trust the reviews from any zine pushed so heavily by a massive game store, though, but now I guess even gamespots reviews are questionable.

That's true enough, but I have to admit that occasionally I just want a regular old physical magazine that is easy to carry around and read wherever.

There is this thing called the internetz that doesn't cost you any more than your ISP subscription, and often timez not even that with your slaptop.

My question is, why would you pay for something that doesn't amount to anything more than a 21st century glorified newspaper with pretty glossy pictures, and outdated news topics by the time it reaches your doorstep???

I like all the features magazines do that gamespot doesn't do anymore.

This used to be such an exciting website...now I really only come for the forum. =/
