I didn't cry a massive amount, but one that did make me cry a little is called 'Threads', it's the most distressing thing I've ever seen, and although I'd say its one of my favourite films, I never want to watch it again

Yes, I hate admitting it, but usually shed a tear or two while watching movies, especially if I'm watching them alone. I mean, I even wet my eyes at the end of Die Hard when Bruce Willis finally gets to embrace his wife.

Good lord this question comes up quite a bit on this board only. No I never cried while watching a film except as a little child. There have been a few that have moved me enough that I felt quite choked up but so far not to the point of actual tears.

I have cried at two movies. First is Braveheart basically because I am Scottish and it just makes you really proud to see what the man fought for despite some events in the movie being false but well incorporated into the storyline. 2nd movie is Gladiator when Maximus's Gladiator friend buries the wooden figurines of his wife and son and says "In another life brother", man thats tear jerking!

Of course. But i cry at stupid films. When i was about four, i cried at Gremlins because the little main Gremlin got took away from the guy... About a year later cried at Terminator 2. I felt horrible for John Conner. End of Days even, the bit at the end cause a tear to stream down. Gladiator got me close, but i was more angry. I think thats the most recent though. Was welling up a tiny bit at the end of 300 the second time round... I like crying at films though. I like laughing so why not like crying. Although i prefer it when its crying with laughter...

So because its a film you feel no emotion at all. You sit through an entire film with a cold neutral expression on your face do you?

I've never actually cryed due to a scene in a movie before. I've been moved a couple of times.

Star Trek Nemesis *SPOILER* - After having watched most of the next generation episodes of Star Trek, I liked Data as a character, so I was saddened by his death in STN.

Saving Private Ryan *SPOILER* - I was saddened by Cpt. Miller's death in SPR as well.

I've never actually cried due to a movie before, but have been, what we call 'moved' I guess...

Quite frequently actually.  I always see it coming, but The Iron Giant gets me all the time.  I don't think I'll ever be able to not cry when I watch it.  I say I cry during a good 45% of movies I watch.  I'm womanly in my sensitvity... :(
