I think it's gone bad, (for now hopefuly) its not really funny anymore, usualy only one funny joke (to me) in an episode. There running out of ideas, lots of episode's storys are really dumb or don't make sense, and they also seem to be cramming as much dialouge into a 22 min. tv show, because the characters are yelling and talking faster which gives me a headache. And many of the great writers/producers have left the show. Hopfully it will get better because the simpsons is one of my favorite shows.
It was great back in its heyday, but after almost 20 years on the air, something's gotta give. I really wan't the movie to be good, but I'm having some doubts. I think if the film's not sucessful, Fox is probably gonna start thinking about the future of the show...maybe possible cancellation if the show doesn't improve qualitywise.
