This might be a controversy question because from what i see and hear they are tied up and someone might break the tie and win it. So what do you think about this?

Urrrr. The war isn't against terrorists, its against insurgents. In Afghanistan I guess you could call them terrorists but there not really that there either.

That depends on whom you define as the "terrorists". It looks as though there has been some significant progress against the Al Qaeda-affiliated foreign fighters in Iraq. However, Iraq's own, indigenous resistance fighters---the "insurgents"---seem to be stronger than ever.

There was no terrorists in Iraq to begin with... you all have been false flagged; deceived into a war for oil and middle east control.

It isn't the Militaries fault... It's Bush. They have to do what he says, unless they were to stage a Coup.

Well if the U.S troops have never gone to Iraq, i think the terrorists would have a base and will likely plan and attack the U.S again, so therfore i think U.S did the right thing and gone to iraq and killed some the terrorists.............

Why doesn't the military kick Bush and oil drinking buddies asses, then with the military in charge we'll only go to wars that have logical reasons, not so Bush can bathe in his precious oil!

Yah, maybe if it was a Tom Clancy novel, but that would not have happened in real life. Saddam and Al Qaeda weren't friendly with one another, and Iraq did not have any ties with terrorism. So what you are suggesting would have been highly unlikely.

Do you know what Sarcasm is?

Really though, the military does have the power to overthrow Bush, but the average soldier/sailor/airmen/marine wouldn't aprove of that probobly, and Generals don't double as politicians these days....

You'd hope so if you asked it, wouldn't you? Anyway, it really it is a tough call. While the terrorist element has been entirely eliminated, I fear that atheism and communism are spreading throughout the country rapidly; people are losing faith in Jesus and capitalism in Iraq. It was a bad trade in my opinion.

what? we haven't won, and we probably wont win in iraq. Iraq is almost EXACTLY like vietnam, except, instead of fighting in the jungles, we're fighting in the deserts.

that's the first problem. the second problem is withdrawl.

liberals are always complaining we should withdraw from iraq. Retreat and defeat. that's all it is.

Remember vietnam? Morale in the US military hit rock-bottom after that. Do you honestly think pulling out of iraq will by any less than a colassal failure on our part?

There were no terrorists in Iraq to begin with. Iraq was one of the most functional societies in the Middle East before the U.S. decided to screw them over and take their oil. So no, the war on terror hasn't been won yet, but another country has been ruined.

My only question is when do attacks within America start happening? I would hope never but if there was just one car bombing here the country would go mad.
