Yes. I found out he wasn't real when I went into the kitchen on Christmas Eve and saw in the other room my parents wrapping presents. Although that night before I saw my parents I heard something on the roof. I don't know what it was.

And what is less believable about the Easter Bunny? He/she/it is another invisible, magical being that appears when children are sleeping and leaves things for them to find in the morning. Same basic concept as Santa and TF. *shrugs*

Nah :P. It was probably just an acorn or something that fell from a tree that hit the roof above my bedroom. But you've got to love the coincidence though. That moment cemented in me that Santa was real and then about an hour later I find out he isn't.

You must've been crushed. :( Not really. I went around showing everyone until the teacher made me put the book up and get another one.

Actually I don't remember feeling any sort of sadness or dissapointment. Maybe I just blocked it out. But I've always been good at accepting bad news.
i believed in a lot of things, santa, the boogieman, tooth fairy, bloody mary, w/e her name was, when the other kids would tell you go in the bathroom turn the lights off stand next to the mirror, and say her name 5 times or something
Yes I did. I'm sure my older brother informed me at an early age that he wasn't real though. The promise of preasents regardless offsets much of the disappointment.
No, I only believed in what I could see, which was my dad's fist coming down on my face every day. That and working in the fields all day. We didn't have time for Santa Claus, and my kids won't either, because i'll raise them the same way. They'll get slacks and a yo-yo for Christmas every year if they don't piss me off too much!

Yes I did. Then I stopped.. but recently I've started to believe again [spoiler] because Santa is a Timelord...! [/spoiler] I bet you didn't figure THAT!
Not really. I was not a very superstitious child and only acted like I believed in Santa Clause because I was supposed to and it was the popular thing to do at the time. (quite the opposite for my belief in God however o.0).
My family always celebrated early because of our family situation. So during a certain we were encouraged to take a nap or stay downstairs or go for a walk. After a while I realize this corresponded with the presents showing up. That's when I knew.
mmm until i was 5 when i spot my mom and dad putting the gifts. but i kept the secret until i was like 10 and i never told any of my friends in school.
