Yep. Failed my Road Test the first time because of the damn parallel parking and apparently I was heavy on the brakes...

On the written test to get the beginner license, I aced the signs and barely failed the rules. On the second try I passed the rules. I have yet to take the road test.

I failed the driving part of the Driver's License Test and came back the next day and passed. I was 18 and had only driven 3 times before I took the test. I didn't even take the driving part of driver's ed, only the written half. I still don't know how I passed lol.

I passed the permit test no problem. Getting my license was a different story... I failed the road test the first time but passed the second.

I failed the first time.

The lessons with my driving instructor had been on an automatic, but the only car my parents had for me to use for the test was a manual. It was also a diesel, and in general pretty difficult to drive, and not ideal for a beginner.

My mother had tried to teach me how to drive a manual a few days before the test, but none of it stuck, and I ended up doing horribly under the pressure of the driving test. I stalled multiple times and had all kinds of issues.

I spent a few weeks learning how to drive a manual with grandfather (a former truck driver) while he was down from Vermont on vacation, and went back and did perfect on the test the second time around.

The written test for the permit was a joke for me...

I failed my Driver's Test (the driving portion) for my license once because the lady I got was a ***** and couldn't speak correct english. She had a heavy smoker's voice too so it made things worse. Next time I went back and got a different guy, passed, and all was good.

I passed both with 100%. However, others were not as lucky as I was.

Passed them both on the first try...luckily on the road portion I didn't have to do parallel parking. I still have problems with that; I probably would have hit everything when I was 16.

No, It really wasn't that challenging. But I've always been a very good test taker.

I failed the written test the first time I tried. But I just barely failed, I basically got 1 point below a passing mark. Other than that I passed everything the next time.

I never failed the written parts but failed both portions of my road test the first time through. I wasn't familiar with the parking lot and drove the wrong way when I pulled out of my spot and the guy flunked me on the spot. Then we moved on to maneuverability and hit a cone, so he flunked me there too. It actually made me afraid to drive for a while but eventually I tried again and passed each one.

I'm only up to my permit, but I only got one question wrong on the test and it was the first time I took it.

Driving isn't really that bad, so I think I'll be okay with getting my license.

I only took the written test, and I'm getting my permit soon. I got a 90% first try, without studying... You needed an 80% to pass.
