I'm sure I was one of those kids like Ralphie that got terrified and said something stupid.

I sent him a letter in the mail once. That was it.

Didn't even really send him the letter. I just sort of threw it up in the air and let the wind take it.

BUT I MADE SURE TO ADDRESS IT TO THE NORTH POLE

No, my parents never saw the point in that so they wouldn't have let me do it if I had wanted to.

I did but I never really wanted to. I'm definatly not ever letting my kids sit on santa's lap. Or even tell them that santa exists. That's just weird.

I'm pretty sure I did it when I was younger. Looking back at it, I'm surprised they still have Santa at the mall in today's day and age with the fears of pedophiles. Personally, I wouldn't want to do it because of the occasional scared kid who may lose their bladder on me.

One can't sit upon the lap of a non-existent entity.

One can, however, sit upon the lap of a human that is pretending to be a non-existent entity while tricking small children into 'believing in them.'

Several times when I was a kid, yeah. I don't exactly remember what I told him about what I wanted, but I think it had something to do with the Power Rangers or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Nope. My parents weren't Christian, nor were they in any way religious/spiritual.

Our little one went this past Saturday for his Santa Pic.

Technically nothing at all. But in common practice, usually some denomination of Christians go to see Santa (or at least that's been my experience). Based exclusively on my own observations, I've never seen a kid with a yamaka or turban take a pic with Santa (not saying that it never happens though).

General Note: I'm kinda surprised people haven't grown tired of asking the "What does Santa/Christmas Treeshave to do with Christianity?"

ummm, it's called being a child, believing in santa and not knowing that your parents are the ones actually buying you the gifts. i mean jesus, some of you guys are really some party poopers. believing in santa as a child is fun and part of growing up.

You mean you don't get it? Santa is a huge scam perpetrated by adults to get kids to behave (no presents if you're bad).

Not really considering I always kept pulling beards off Santas faces because I found out that Santa isn't real when I was about 4-5 years old.
