Did you help set a WORLD RECORD by downloading Firefox 3?

For those who don't know, Mozilla launched their brand new web browser yesterday. It's called Firefox 3. They're trying to set a Guinness World Record for most downloads in 24 hours. If that's incentive enough for you, then be sure to check out their website.

If that weren't enough, you can print your own certificate saying you helped make a world record. From the time I'm typing this, 9AM eastern standard time, you have approximately 4 hours to download firefox 3 to contribute to the record. It'll still be available for download past that, FYI, but it won't count for the record. I'll provide the link once again, for those who can't read through walls of text. Help set a world record--download Firefox 3!

As far as I know, there was no previous record, so they just wanted to make one up. And they likely wanted the record to be quite high so that they're not beaten for a while.

It'd be sweet if they did that. Look down the millions of E-Mail addresses and find yours: WOAH!?!?!?!?!

Although, it'd take up an entire record book with all those names. Soo, it's not gonna happen.

It would be pointless because you would be just one of the few million. Nobody will notice you, you might as well not be in that list.

I would say "fair enough" but right now you should have no problems downloading it. Just go to the Firefox homepage and click on download Firefox. Servers seem to be stable now because I guess most people have already downloaded it.
