I'm only 5'8. :(

5'8" is not very short.

I am 6'3", so that is a seven inch difference. I doubt the treatment you receive from others because of your height is terrible.

I'm 5'5", last time I checked. Never really noticed any height-related discrimination. Not to say that it doesn't happen to me, but I can't ever recall anyone actually being open or blatant about it. Sure, I'm still not REALLY short, but I'm shorter than most guys I know. And I'm often the shortest guy in the room. And yet, even when I was back in middle school and high school, I can't recall people giving me shit for being short. Oh sure, I got treated like shit for plenty of other things. But being short? That honestly has never been something that anyone pointed out to me as a reason for ridicule.

Is the weather different down there? Do you have indoor plumbing? What about Christmas?

What I mean is that the last time I checked was back in 1996. So, like, it's possible that I've gotten shorter since then.

It's a very noticeable difference. Don't know why you're bringing height discrimination in.

Even my skeleton is small so it's worse(because I look like a little boy) Not sure how I'd look all fit.

I live in a land of short people. At 172/173 my height is almost always fine for the people around me.

I'm 182 cm tall, which is above average around here. I'm happy with how tall I am, but I wouldn't have minded 5 extra cms.

No, I won the genetic lottery. I'm 6'1" with a good build. I'm also of ashkenazi jewish heritage which people from this background have much higher than average IQ's.

I'm the oldest son and I'm 5'10. My two younger brothers are taller than I am. Ones 6'0 and the other is 6'1. So I guess I got the bad gene.

I got the good Irish genes, I suppose. I'm 5'11. My sister is 5'3. My uncles are all 5'11 - 6'0.

Well, if you don´t have any of those and some others, you have all your limbs, 10 fingers and 10 toes all in their right place then you didn´t get the short end of the genetic stick, all you have is a butthurt ego for being "short" which is relative.

How you feel about it probably depends on where you are and what the average is there. If he's from the Netherlands then he's probably at least four inches shorter than most people.

Everyone in my family is short. Family of pixies, man. My little brother is like 5'6 and weighs like 115 pounds. My older brother is like 5'7. All of my cousins with the exception of one, are shorter than me. Even the tall one is only like 130 pounds. When I actually worked out I got to like 165-170, but I quit and now I'm back to super manlet status around 140. I look like a beanpole.
