Yugioh was the **** back in the day. My neighbors and I would rally up and have street battles. We didnt do that loser takes their opponents card thing but we had fun. I stopped around the eighth grade for one sad reason.

On the last day of school in 7th grade me and myschool buddies were playin Yugioh but those stupid yard teachers took it away deeming it witchcraft. They also think pokemon is witchcraft. I forgot to ask for them back when school ended and I never saw them again. It pisses me off thinking about it.

So, do you still play?

Looking back, I am proud of liking Pokemon, but not Yugioh. I quit when I was 12. I am 16.

I never played either.

I had Pokemon cards, but never actually played nor even knew how to play.

Yeah I played Yugioh, I stopped playing it years ago. A few months back I found my old deck in a shirt pocket in my closet. I had some pretty powerful cards, but now I lost the deck again :P

I never played it but my younger brother played it A LOT. He's 17 now and still plays it, then got a job mainly to keep buying the cards. It was interesting to watch the matches he would play with people, but I didn't understand what the hell was going on. The artwork is just nice.

Yeah I played in my 8th grade year. I stopped playing around when Legacy of Darkness was released. Simply didn't have the money to compete with others by buying more and more rare cards.

In fourth grade yeah, me and this kid were pretty much the champions of our grade at that. I remember I was like the only kid who knew the real rules so no ones strategies worked on me because they all relied on stupid altered rules that made it unbalanced.

I collected them and mad an abundance of decks, but I didn't play much. Same with Pokemon. I still have some of them cards, but not many. I stopped at 11. It's always been considered nerdy and lame in my town.

I probably would have, had I lived in a bigger town. No one played where I was at. So, I never bothered. I thought the idea was neat though.

I did at one time, right after the series was beginning on TV that made it so pouloper quite fast. shortly after the cards came out, i brought all the cards my bother had and me and my friend played the game for two years, well till the show took a nasty turn with GX which just ruin the whole thing. Shortly i switch to Magic the gathering, but i still have all my old yugioh cards

Ah, those where the days. I would divide the deck so one half was uber-powerful, then challenge a family member to a duel and give myself the uber-deck. Cheating FTW! :D Nowadays I just watch Yugiohtheabrigedseries.com

Every kid in school liked it and played the card game, watched the show, some even pretended to be pokemon and have battles  Oh god.

No, I was too old when Yugioh got popular. I've played the game once or twice with my brother, but we were just messing around. I will say it's at least a lot less complicated than Magic.

The only times I battled with Yu-Gi-Oh cards was when I was at my friend's house and one time when he took me to Books-a-Million. I still have all of my cards in a tin box in a drawer in my desk. Most of those cards kick ass.

i think it was around fall time. my friend was looking through some old things and found them. so we played it for like two days. he had a god card so it beat everything. i'm 21 lol.

funny, my teacher said his favorite pokemon is jigglypuff because she would sing and everyone would fall asleep, she would write on their face after that. He has to be in his 40's or something because he said that he use to work on an apple 2 for graphic design.

Yu-Gi-Oh was the only new card game time that worked. It was astounding. I just looked through my decks. I had an Egyptian deck, a Machine deck, a Dark deck, a Magic deck, a Warrior deck, and a Dragon deck. The Warrior, Dark, and Machine decks kick so much ass. Those are the only ones I actually ever won with.

I know I just felt like the rules were structured well and you could have very interesting games. I had a machine deck with a Machine King but that was the deck I lost. The game was extremely fun until my friend got God Cards and games ended way too fast.

Witchcraft, lol. I had teachers like that back in grade school, nowadays I treat them like **** whenever I see them. It's called karma.

I used to play, but I was way too old. I had a couple of friends once I graduated from college that were really into it and we would just split up decks and play. We used to play a drinking game where every time a monster got defeated in battle you'd do a shot, I remember getting pretty hammered off that one. But nah, I don't play anymore. We all kinda fell out of it in a matter of months.

Can't you see the magic in these cards. Try the game, I bet you'll like it. Except all the new cards are retarded looking. Heart of the cards man.

My machine deck had a VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon and Barrel Dragon. Never had a Machine King. And my friend gave me a Winged Dragon of Ra for $10. Turns out it was fake. I was so pissed. :(

Back in elementary it was non-stop YuGiOh, but like everyone we grew out of it.
