I'm a Junior in high school and I can say that I don't skip too often. About maybe twice every few months, or more if like a long break is coming up and nobody wants to stay.

the second semester of my senior year, all I needed was one english credit, luckily C.I.S. english lit was my first period. so after that, me and my freinds would all ditch, we would either go to the mall or to my friends basement and game (usually super smash bros melee)
I did today usually not intentional I usually wake up late and miss my bus but when I get my license I won't have that excuse.
I skipped probably a total of 8 classes during high school. Probably 6 of those times were in my senior year >.>
I very rarely missed class.
I didn't have to skip class. I was in theatre so I just said I had to do some "drama business." Never got turned down.
in grade 10 i did, but after almost getting expelled I turned things around. then by grade 12 all I had to take was 3 courses so i had lots of extra time and didn't need to skip class.
My senior year now and its getting a lot harder to get to school, if I have first period and then a bunch of frees till lunch I find it extremely hard to get to school for that one class :/ never used to but this whole getting up at 7 is getting a lot harder
I'm attending right now, school started in the beginning of sept, i've showed up like 5 timesLost-MemorySkipping isn't necessarily synonymous with trouble.
nah, i hardly ever skipped a class in high school (less than 5 times probably). however, in college, one of my classes i've only gone to once in about a month, give or take.
Sophomore year I skipped tons, junior year I skipped a little but not nearly as much as Sophomore year, and Senior year I skipped somewhat. Still managed to graduate and get into a solid college though. I had a lot of growing up to do but High School definitely built me a little lol 8)
I skipped half a school year when I was a freshman. And then I F'ed around in my Senior year. And I still managed to graduate somehow.
Unless you had mom call in for you every time you skipped, it was impossible to skip unless you wanted detention. Unexcused absence resulted in an hour of detention for every hour you missed. I guess you could skip detention, which resulted in suspension. Not a bad deal IMO.Guppy507
I never skipped classes in High school, it would be pretty boring doing so. I always figured I might as well just go to class and get my last four years of public schooling over with.
I dont understand how you guys skipped my high school takes attendance every class, and for everytime you are marked absent and there is not a call from your home you are given a saturday detention :?
