My ballot didn't come in the mail. So I will be going to the nearest voting booth as soon as they open.

Thankfully tomorrow gives us a reprieve from the incessant, wasteful, annoying, useless, etc..., political propaganda in our mail, on the air and radio waves, streaming apps, etc..., All the money spent that could go to the country and the people rather than being wasted.
Tomorrow morning, I expect a madhouse and people acting like fools.
Going to vote on Tuesday.
Luckily there are tons of polling locations in my area and my particular location is right across the street from my home. Typically has been very quick and painless.
Gotta make sure that clown mark robinson gets the fkn boot. Send a message to republicans that I don't like their brand of fear monger politics and hopefully return the right of healthcare to women.
I did , just don't really expect things to get that much better
Things do get better, it's just so slow and easy to go backwards we can't tell. It's a "slow crawl forward, giant stumble back" sort of thing and as long as the crawl is more than the occasional stumble, we are good.
As MLK Jr said (paraphrasing) the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards progress.
@Solaryellow: I would love it if the election cycle was three months long, and all adds were banned. Nothing worthwhile has ever been said in a political add. There would be a few debates, and candidates could post their opinions and legislative plans on a website. That would about cover everything they need as far as I'm concerned.
Yeah, I early voted for Kamala. I’m in a red state (FL) but atleast i have plausible deniability if trump wins that im not at fault
Yup, and looking forward to seeing Prop 36 pass in California. I'm actually surprised Kamala refused to address whether she voted for it or not (I think current polling was 75% for it). She literally has nothing to lose and still couldn't give an answer much like she can't do a press conference if her life depended on it. Lol
@sargentd: The economy is great.
I voted Obama 2012
Trump 2016
Biden 2020
Kamala 2024
So far I only regret one of those.
I really hope Kamala wins but all the signs point to a Trump victory sadly.
Voting the day of. As a former Trumper who’s been forced to see the truth about Donnie and his ilk, I’m casting my vote for Kamala.
@agent_stroud:
You did the right thing. You are on the right side of history. I want to thank you fellow American for what you have done.
@sargentd: Inflation/gas prices is an issue but that is because Russia invaded Ukraine.
How The Economy Really Fared Under Biden/Harris And Trump—From Jobs To Inflation (Final Update)
Both Presidents had great economies. Biden has a better jobs market and people are saving more money on average under him.
The problem with Trump isn't his economy it was his behavior and his draconian social policies (putting judges who ended up Overturning Roe V Wade then bragging about it).
The economy is arguably cyclical and some say neither man deserves credit for the economy. Kinda like Obama and Bush dont deserve hate for the economy either.
Trump does have charisma... Not as much as Obama mind you but I will concede that he is funny
