I thought so too. When I saw Cartman and Kyle hanging out and having fun, I thought "This is it... :[."Is south park signed on for another season? Cuz that seemed like the end of south park to me.

I thought so too. When I saw Cartman and Kyle hanging out and having fun, I thought "This is it... :[." Signs that South park has ended; - Kyle and Cartman like eachother - Stan now lives somehwere else /goes to another school - Stans parents saying they cant do this anymore, week after week. Illustrating Matt and trey doing the show every week. If you ever look into interviews with matt and trey they say themselves they dont like to do the show anymore, its become work for them, they liek the creative process, but everything else sucks. Maybe im lookign too deep into it, but all signs point to the end. What i've heard is that this will be the last season because they don't want to do it anymore. There is at least 7 more episodes left that will air probably in the fall. So who knows. They haven't signed on to make anymore season after this but it is still early

Yep, that was the main theme of the show. They were making fun of how they can't do the show anymore and it's become the same every week.
They still have the second half of this season to do... They would not leave the show on a sad note. I see 3 options though:
1) Im wrong and this is the end of the series.
2) Everything will be resolved in the second half of the season, bringing the status quo (doubt it).
3) Finally, when the show returns it will be fundamentally different, effectively rebooting it.
At the very least this show was an indicator that Matt and Trey are no longer having fun in Southpark's current formula... Even scarier is that it could be interpreted as one of them 2 leaving the show....

If they're smart, they'll give Randy his own series. That would absolutely be a genius move. For all we know they could be poising him to be a main character. Its important to remember, the show is called Southpark, not Stan and Friends. Also, there cant be any doubt that there is more to come. We didnt see any Kenny at the end. Also, the final episode of the show deserves Butters.[QUOTE="wolverine4262"]

Seriously? From What I heard the last one almost killed them... I would welcome it though. They still have at least 7 episodes to be made and I heard when they do decide to finish the show it will be in a form of another movie

I hope that's it. Even though this last season has been garbage, South Park has gone on for so long and been so good that I don't think any true series finale could do it any justice whatsoever. I prefer the abrupt and depressing ending this episode gave it (and make the rest of the season just episodes of Terrance & Phillip :P)
Glad someone else posted this, I honestly thought it was going to be the end of South Park. It hasn't been great for a while with a few hit episodes that are great and a few not so great.
South Park studios has the rest of season 15 listed as coming in October still though, so it seems like we'll still at least get the second half.
And the play is FREAKING AWESOME.they want to end south park with another movie, they are to busy working on their play

Seriously. Anyone who has ever liked South Park needs to buy the CD.
The episode was f'ing brilliant. Funny, awesome, and incredibly depressing (Wait thats not awesome!) It certainly did hint at South Park ending, but as long as there is pop culture, cartoons like South Park are here to stay.
I felt so depressed at the end. If this is the last season, I hope they don't end it with them growing apart...
This past episode is probably my favorite episode of the series.
The show has always been up and down for me, but I do enjoy it for the most part.
I would like this to be the beginning of the end, it would be a great ride to the finale.
But also, that scene with Randy and Sharon made me think that they might be just playing a little trick.
Sharon says "everything just resets like nothing happened," so maybe the next episode will begin like nothing happened.
I hope not, but it's a thought.
What if Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman turn 10 and end up being like Stan? Could make for an intresting next season if there is one
I thought it was hilarious. The only decent episode thus far this season. I could careless if this is the last season of South Park tbh.
Did anyone else think/feel that a lot of people in OT act like Stan (in this episode)?
Swanogt19
I act like Stan in that episode.
I certinly don't know whether this marks the end of south park or not, but man ... I can relate soo much to that episode!!
