You know, some people (like me) spend years fantasizing about finally having a girlfriend, but what is it like to finally have one? Did it "live up to the hype?"
honestly, she was my first when I was a junior looking for a prom date, I thought we were opposites,but you know the old saying, opposites attract, and I was seriously going to ask her to prom when she reached and grabbed a note and it asked me... I was flabbergasted. We eventually went out for 11 1/2 months, but her mom forced a break up, so I told her once shes out of her moms house we can reevaluate our relationship. But i took her to the movies recently(Made of Honor as I am in it :D ) and kissed her when I took her back, but she couldnt say she loved me.... it hurt but I understood.
I had many GF till i fall in love then i marry and slowly i started to find that my dream girl was indeed a nightmare So my philosophy now is many GF but in heaven sake, do not fall in love
First one was as dumb as she was atractive, i quickly forgot her...hmm now what was her name again? :P
I had many relationships that never lasted long before i fell in love, then it lasted 3 years and a half with that girl, i still have many good memories from it, but bad ones too. It was worth it tho i guess. Have had a few other relationships after that, but never fell in love again.
My first (and current, still going) girlfriend was far beyond the hype. Not just gf/bf thing, we clicked from the beginning. She's both my girlfriend and my best friend.
Depends on the girl. I'm on my third. I search and I find quality girls, some cute girl that I wanna hold on to, and that's how they've all been. Someone I'm attracted to personality and physical.
The girl I'm with now is beautiful, funny, and just amazing to be with. So, I'd say that's a yes if you find the right girl.
Um I guess you could say she did...I made the mistake of picking a quiet girl, she ended up *****ing and moaning about everything in her life, always crying etc. needless to say I dumped that *****.
Well my first real girlfriend was and is still very bittersweet. The hype was everything and more but what I didn't expect was everything that came with it. The fights, drama, emotions and everything else make it more of a neutral aspect of life, rather than a positive or a negative. Then again, that's what I get for choosing a crazy rez girl.
my first gf didnt live upto any expectations, mainly b/c it only lasted 2 weeks so i didnt really have time to get to know her. ive had others since then and they definatly lived up to my expectations

Not every teenage relationship is about status and sex, generalizations FTW! Nobody really even knows me and my girl are dating, they see us holding hands and such be we don't try to show off or anything. Most of the time we are looking for a place to be...ummm....alone, lol. Everything about us clicks, shes great and wonderful and we are engaged. Teenagers can have just as fulfilling relationships as adults do.

I'm a little too timid to get the girls I'm looking for, so far I've ended up with the bat-**** crazy types. I ended up dumping my first girlfriend a month after we started going out, people that uninteresting have no right to force me into two-hour phone calls.

You don't have to do anything. Doing something as opposed to nothing is always going to be more interesting.

are you implying that he's a teenager because he doesn't want a family? I'm not too keen on having a family, but maybe it's because my parents have had a horrible relationship which in turn caused great abuse towards me. Hopefully I'll see the light on having a family.
I'm not even sure the last girl I was with even counted as a girlfriend. And if she did, then no, she didn't. She basically set me up for a horrible, horrible fall.
Ive had a lot of girlfriends. But my longest relationship has been 3 months. I get really bored with my girlfriends after about 2 months. I have no idea why though.

yeah, she definitely did. lol had an awkward beginning but it was good while it lasted. (i told her i had liked her for a year when i was drunk) we dated for a month or so and it was fun

yeah actually (i thought the question was gonna be did the sex live up to the hype) but thats probably because she was incredibly cool and she was a juior and i was just a freshman in highschool at the time and you get bragging rights for that kinda thing

Sorry to hear that. I hate how they never realize who they're hurting. What I'd do to them if it was legal oh what I would do....ah hem seems like I've gotten off topic anyways...the first gf I had was the only bad one, the rest have been pretty good, got a lot of shoulder touching.
