Did/do you drive in highschool

I will next year, but I am kind of nervous. We have a very crudely designed parking lot and the students have to squeeze through buses coming in and out(atleast we have ground marking unlike other schools in our district). Also the inexperienced drivers and idiots doing donuts and speeding in the lot. Last year at least three students crashed their cars, and someone actually ran someone over. People tend to mess with other peoples cars which has ranged from random idiots leaning against your truck, an angry student randomly smashing a girls window, and someone cutting my friends brohter's brakes.

Atleast I will be able to impress ladies :shock: .

I could get my driver's license... But I has a lazy =[

I had to drive Mom's minivan in high school, which means I was given the responsibilty of driving with none of the benefits.

Psh I take the bus 8) , but there is nothing wrong with your parents dropping you off. It is lame though.

Every once in a while. I don't see the point of driving it daily though, especially when you could just take the bus without worrying about paying for gas or picking people up.

Yea, I started driving to school when I was 16. Ladies loved that I did. My friends got made fun of because they didn't start driving until their senior year. I made fun of people who didn't drive at all and everyone that rode the bus and got dropped off where ridiculed by all the cool kids and good looking girls

Just a word of advice. If you don't have a car or license, just get a ride with one of your friends that does so you don't look lame when you get to school.

Nope, I just take the good ol' reliable bus.

It was nice, simply because driving gave me more time to sleep in.

Been driving since the start of Junior Year actually. It was quite a nice change since I hated waiting for my sis to pick me up after school and she was late 80 percent of the time. Now I can sleep in a bit more, and go anywhere I please after getting out of shcool.

i just started to and i was nervous the 1st time too. just find a parking space and drink some coffee in the morning, you'll be fine

I had it pretty good in high school. My dad signed for the car loan, and he told me I could have the car as long as I worked and made the payments.

I worked hard, drove a 2-year-old car my senior year.
