Are kids influenced better in private schools? Do they learn better? Are there less issues that kids deal with?

I doubt they learn better. Learning is more on the individual, not others.

You cannot directly compare public to private as there is great variety in private schools and public as well. Some private schools are very good, others are dumping grounds for students with problems who were removed from the public school system. Too many variables for private schools which is part of the problem.

Also depends on the type of public school. Here, the city schools are way different from the suburban schools. I went to a private school by the way.

it's a school by school thing. some public school districts are really good while some are really poor. a private school could potentially have more resources by charging high tuition, but it isn't necessarily the case. i went to a private catholic school when i was a kid and there was actually a lower quality of education there because it got by on using nuns for cheap labor. that said, some parents really value a religious background so that might be really important when they are looking at schools (even then, i'd say there's always sunday school and ccd if that's your thing).

Very little difference. One's publicly funded, one isn't, the teaching and grades aren't all that much different.

oh and the education of the private schools are not better I REPEAT NOT BETTER than public school(at least around where i live) becuase they are going to do everything they can to keep getting your money

For instance i know ALOT of people who went to my school and had C's and D's and then went to the private school and there grades got ALOT better to like A's and B's.

Really? That's funny because the private school I go to; students who have a C or D average and leave for public school have a huge boost in grades (around A average).

Can't really make the assumption that all public and private schools are the same. :?

Clearly the private school is far superior at teaching so even the average and barely passing student in a public school can be turned into a good student who gets B's and A's! Bet there parent are happy and satisfied that there money has been well spent!

Depends on how much funding and how well the faculty staff is.

Region also plays a role. A good teacher isn't going to accept a job in a poor, high crime community.

i can't speak for public schools since i only attended private ( catholic ) schools.. i attended private school k-8 because the school i attended was very good... i also attended a private small regional high school.. my hs had a mix of people. there were the people there to get an education because the public schools they would have attended were crappier and there were students there who were idiots but their parents had lots of money so they sent their kids there. of my graduating class senior year, 4 of the top 10 students gpa-wise came from my grammar school. money wise though the teaching staff at my hs didn't make ----.. they would have been waay better off teaching at a public school.
