I remember these when I was a kid. Between this, Mars Attacks cards and the Garbage Pail Kids, I'm amazed at what the Topps Company got away with when it came to making trading cardsfor kids. No way in hell they could do this today.
Garbage Pail Kids had some of the nastiest material I've ever seen.I remember these when I was a kid. Between this, Mars Attacks cards and the Garbage Pail Kids, I'm amazed at what the Topps Company got away with when it came to making trading cardsfor kids. No way in hell they could do this today.

 Oh wait.. Those were for kids? Oh.. jaydough
Yup. and what do kids have today? Yu-Gi-Oh Cards....It's a shame, really.
I liked the one of the little girl blowing a hole in the dino's chest. fidosim
Me too, expecially since she was using an RPG-7. a Little girl would not even be able to lift an RPG7.

Which is the irony of the situation.[QUOTE="Hallenbeck77"][QUOTE="jaydough"] Oh wait.. Those were for kids? Oh.. jaydough

But that's just me.
DUDE, that came out in 1988? THat's just a year before I was born, man, I would have played those all the time if I knew about it.ElArab
Back then, cards like that were made for collecting. You couldn't play them like Yu-Gi-Oh.

I remember mars attacks when I was a kid, the movie that is, and wow I remember seeing the "gore" and the martians looking at the couple having sex (I was like, 8 I think...not sure) and I was like "why was this marketed as a comedy for kids?" lol, at least, that's what I remember.
I doubt he'd make a dinosaurs attack now though, Tim Burton is more original and artsy for a random dino bloodfest. These cards are funnier anyway.
