Exactly what is needed IMO but I'm not sure many will agree with him.

I like the sound of this.  I thought Fast 6 was the best since the 2001 franchise debut, but I could go for more car action and less hand to hand.

The funny thing is that since Saw Wan has done a huge job of getting AWAY from the torture porn.

Not a fan of the Fast and Furious series but Wan is a solid director.

F&F6 was a step down, it had its moments but overall it dragged on. F&F7 has a fresh director with a fresh vision for the franchise. 

You could tell Justin Lin was suffering from fatigue, all he's done since 2005 was develop and work on Fast and Furious.
