When the main dude and his alien friend co-op through the military base, that was the best parts in the movie, and it seemed like you were in halo, it was awesome. but... the wife as usual didn't do it for me, her and her father were stupid characters and annoying. So... 8/10 for meshaqfuisgood
SPOILER ALERT :D

Wow you're dumb, D9 was actually a very deep movie, and the wife and father added to the empathy of the movie.
"and it seemed like you were in halo, it was awesome." I laughed. Seems like something someone who was young would say.NecroKvltMuffinim 21 and i halo wasn't my thing, i grew up with goldeneye. but it did feel like a co-op experience, it was great and the wife and father were stupid characters no matter how u wanna put it, u felt no connection between him and his wife

But it's still awesome at the same time?
And if it wasn't for the wife, i wouldn't care half as much for the main character.

there was no connection between the wife, and the father and the main dude. it was pointless, the only emotional connection was between the aliens[QUOTE="NecroKvltMuffin"]"and it seemed like you were in halo, it was awesome." Wikus risked his life to get back to his wife, AND to protect the aliens.[QUOTE="Overwatch88"][QUOTE="shaqfuisgood"] im 21 and i halo wasn't my thing, i grew up with goldeneye. but it did feel like a co-op experience, it was great and the wife and father were stupid characters no matter how u wanna put it, u felt no connection between him and his wifeshaqfuisgood

So... 8/10 for mequiglythegreat'I like the action bits, but everything else was boring because I do not have the patience to appreciate concepts more abstract than violence' Please don't tell me you're saying that's a bad thing. It's not his fault these "abstract concepts" don't appeal to him. Anyway, the wife was just there to show that the protagonist had value in his life and had something to live for. She didn't really detract from the film, unlike many females from other movies. She was there, added what she needed to, and didn't **** it up by making it mushier and cheesier than it had to be. My overall assessment of the film is that it was pretty awesome. I didn't like the loose ending, though. God forbid that someone doesn't leave a movie or anything else open for a sequel. Well, if there is a District 10 (I'm not sure if there will be), I'll certainly see it.

It showed her willingness to abandon her spouse do to his umm, changes.
