Bad CGI? You could level every opinion against that movie you want, but you can't deny that the CGI insane.
Troll thread confirmed?
the racism crap in this overblown and stupid, and the fact that a gang with a few AK-47's are able to conceal this phenomina for themselves is rediculous. And that fact that the leader of this gang tried to eat the guy's hand WAS SO STUPID. Terrible movie, terrible acting, bad camera angles, and the CGI looked like garbage.cubemovies

You felt nothingcubemoviesReally? The action scenes had me on the edge of my seat because I actually cared about the characters. The story and the way it was told was very unique. At times, the film had an independent, genuine feel to it. And the emotional expressions expressed in the alien's faces were stunning.

But nothing in Distict 9[QUOTE="cubemovies"] You felt nothingRikusaki
The girlfriend and father had NO point in the movie, and his crying was waaaaay overdramatic for characters who have not been at all developed. His girlfriend was an a$$holecubemovies
in the words of Will Ferrell

But nothing in Distict 9 I didn't like the Matrix. It was innovative in terms of special effects, but that was about it. The Matrix was more like a portfolio of new special effect techniques. The action scenes were not exciting because I had no emotional connection with the characters.[QUOTE="cubemovies"] You felt nothingcubemovies
Matrix had an amazing story + special effects and blows District 9 out of the water on every aspectcubemoviesYou complain about a lack of emotion in District 9 then cite The Matrix as better? You have a distinct problem my good sir, a problem none of us in this thread can help you with.

Matrix had an amazing story + special effects and blows District 9 out of the water on every aspectcubemoviesI strongly disagree with that statement.
The dialogue was tacky and boring. What's the point of having such awesome visual effects and martial arts fights if you don't give a damn about any of the characters? All of the characters seem so detached and emotionless that you have to wonder why they chose that style of acting for their actors.. The humans in the movie show about as much emotional depth as the machines.

Thats what im saying, its my second favorite movie this yr next to hurt locker
but for some reason he doesnt like it :?
I was prepared to write a serious reply explaining why District 9 was a diamond found in the recently offensively stale genre known as Sci Fi... then it occured to me that the OP must be a young kid who knows nothing about films as an artform: let alone a means to tell a story.
Honestly people "I dun liek it" is not a valid argument. Let it be known.
