Hey guys, I wanna start experimenting with some djing and I was wondering if any of you guys know a free audio software which is good for mixing songs and doing dj stuff :)

A free one, HAHA. Good one. The best one I think would be Sony ACID Pro. But that is like $374.00. I cheaper starter software would be Sony ACID Music Studio.

How you "acquire" the programs determines if they're free. But I personally use Ableton Live and Reason.

If you wanna dj mp3's get trakta, you should be able to find it and its easy to pick up the basics, and then it has some neat features too when you are ready- like looping etc

Just go buy two spin table and a channle mixer and it's done. No need for software.

I have something like DJ Mixtation 3....Not sure exactly what it is called but it is freaking amazing.... I made ton of party mixes with it...If I had the right audio card I could output to speakers or whatever...If you have two audio cards you can listen to each table seperately so you can get the next track right where and how you want it.

Exactley! I don't want to have to buy all my 100s of albums on vinyl!
