i read some thread about dlp TV's in the 360 section, i was just wondering if anyone out there has any useful info on what to look for when shopping for one? Are there certain name brands that out perform others? and about the bulb that has to be changed, can i do it myself? any bit of info would be useful

LED DLp doesn't need a bulb replacement, DLP = samsung hlt XX89 , SXRD = Sony XX3000. They're nice, but i'd rather save for a plasma, i already have a dlp.

I would suggest the 87 series from Samsung, they are LED lit so you don't need to worry about the bulb going out, just look them up on amazon or something.
