Do a lot of people smoke pot in your school?

Quite a few do in mine, and especially the jazz band kids.

Yes....I know like 10 that do..

When i was in high school(3 years ago)

There was alot of pot smokng, drinking, and occasional XTC and Cocaine use

But im sure its like that in many schools.

let me tell you the stereotypes of the high schools in my area

1) West Valley (my high school)- the white kids with all the drugs

2) Lathrop- the gangs

3) North Pole- STD's

I don't know any kids that smoke pot, but I know a few Sophmores that smoke ciggarettes. I am only a Freshman, so I don't really know everybody that does it. I am sure some Junoirs or Senoirs do it, but I haven't seen my Freshman class do anything, aside from drink beer.

If I did run into a person that smoked pot, I would just ignore them and not consider them human. I am just mean like that.

this poster is totally right. for the majority of my life i have been scared of drugs and how it can lead into poverty or what have you. marijuana isnt bad people, it is actually safe compared to cigarettes and alcohol.

You know, I don't do the reefer, but I don't have a problem with people who do.

If people want to smoke pot, fine by me. I don't care. I won't look down on them, I'll still be their friends. Whatever. I just won't smoke it with them. It's just not for me.

But even tough I'm 100% cool with people who smoke pot, one thing I HATE is potheads.

Potheads, man. Stoners. People who somehow manage to be actual JUNKIES when it comes to pot. I hate those people so much. The people who do nothing but smoke pot and act like jerks. The people who smoke a morning bowl and then show up at work/school 20 minutes later. The people who wear their pot-smoking as a badge of honour, and take every opportunity to try to brag about how much pot they smoke.

Really, **** those guys.

I'm sure that my doctor and my dentist smoke pot. And if I had a lawyer, he'd probably smoke pot too. But they aren't frigging potheads. Their lives don't revolve around smoking weed.

My thoughts are the same, expect that the occasoinal..... for myself. I knew kids last year (lived with two) who smoked everyday but where able to still function. Its just the kind that lives for it that will bug me.

I know that feeling....

According to my stoner friends, 80% of my school has tried something or other, and 25% do something (mostly pot, but significant amounts of "other" things) on a regular basis. 10% of them are just totally whacked out on something or other at almost any time of the day.

I'd say that's an overestimate, but I'm sure it's still pretty high.
