[QUOTE="CubePrime_basic"]I wonder when people will grow out of religion?blackngold29Oh, come off it.
i would understand if i was scared sh!tless of what stars might be and wonder how could the world not be flat. but ya know, it's 2008... and i get a good laugh at it. wow. k.
If there is such a thing as a heaven, I personally don't think a just and loving god would bar animals from going there. It'd get kinda boring just having humans around.

I'm sorry, but animals are souless creature put here by god for the benefit of man.

Well in that case, that makes me feel even better about donating to the SPCA in order to give them the best life possible while here on Earth. ;)
(yeah, I'm a big-time animal lover, if you can't tell)
Animals lack the intelligenxe to create gods then worship them so the answer is no.lycrof
I think that signifies intelligence far beyond the nature of humans.
Yeah and wouldn't heaven be really crowded if it existed? Or is the idea that we get a 'personal' heaven?DrSponge
That reminds me, we need a proof on whether or not heaven is exothermic or endothermic.

Whether or not heaven gives off heat or takes in heat? What? :?

it obviously gives off energy in the form of light. The question is whether it absorbs it mroe than it gives off.
That could get awkard i think. I mean your cat eats your goldfish, bunny, bird whatever, in heaven you run into both of them what would you say? so personally i hope not, my kitty's one murderous little guy, i hate to have to explain why i kept him around. :p
I'm sorry, but animals are souless creature put here by god for the benefit of man. When they die, they don't go to heaven...
but look on the bright side, at least they don't go to hell...

So animals have been on the earth for hundreds of millions of years before man, but they are here just for our benefit?
I've lately been seriously considering the strong possiblity of a god.
To answer this question, I can't. The lord operates in mysterious ways. Also, alot of you are VERY wrong about heaven (giving it characteristics of this dimension, assuming god puts you into hell)

you obviously missed my last post.
i've changed my mind. this is what i think happens.

Animals lack the intelligenxe to create gods then worship them so the answer is no.lycrof
or they are too intelligent...think about it...
Uh, I would make fun of you but I won't. The best answer I've heard is No, because they don't have souls.blackngold29Neither do we -- wait, we are allowed to make absolutes?
Hasty generalization. Just because there is no evidence does not mean that the answer is no. It means that there is no objective reason to believe yes.Christian Perspective: No, animals do not have souls.
Atheist Perspective: Everyone who believes in God is an idiot and inferior to me. / There's no evidence to support Heaven or souls, so no.
