Do cemeteries creep you out?

They still creep me out... lol even in the day time I just feel uneasy around them or something. I passed by one today and it had all this thick bushes with an odd looking staircase leading up to the main cemetary ground. Plus it was in sort of a deserted area so it was a little creepy. What about you OT?

No they don't. As a child, I used to be fasinated with them and death. I actually remember playing hide n seek once at the cemetary down the street from my house.

They creep me out a little: One time I was watching The Daily Show with my roommate and the power went out. It was summer so we took a walk and there is a cemetary down the street from our apartment. So I'm going on and on about the zombie apocalypse as we walk past this cemetary and their is this man shuffling towards us. My roommate and I freaked and moved as far away from him as possible. It was just an old many though.

Not at all. I used to do a lot of urban exploration back in the day. Old cemeteries fell into that category. Ironically these were typically the least creepy of the places we explored.

There's a cemetary down the street from my house that I walk through at night sometimes. If I'm alone, it freaks me the **** out.

Depends on the cemetery. Part of my job last summer was cutting grass at an old pre-WWI cemetery in my hometown. There was nothing really creepy about it. Large cemeteries creep me out to an extent though, at night at least.

I'm not afraid of cemeteries (in the day time at least). But I've never actually been there at night.

no, I really like them for some reason. I find them peaceful, relaxing, and usually quite pretty to boot (landscaping is cool, and a lot of gravestones look really nice too).

My aunt actually did the landscaping for a really well-known cemetary, so we would go up there sometimes and help out or just look around. Ive enjoyed cemetaries since I was a kid, and I am not goth or emo at all :P

On a nice quiet summers day grave yards can be very relaxing and pieceful.

On a moonless night with wolves howling in the background they are scary.

They used to creep me out, but as I've lost loved one's over the years, I get comforted by the prospect that "spirits" are among us.

I will admit that the colonial era cemetary in colonial Williamsburg creeps me out at night time.

I don't find cemeteries creepy, but I also make a point never to visit one. For when the Zombie Apocalypse occurs, the last place I want to be is a cemetary. For those that visit cemetaries, you put yourself in that posistion then you deserve to get what's comming to you.

No, not at all. Cemetaries are probabaly one of the only places where you can be reasonably sure the natives aren't going to hurt you. I actually enjoy walking through them and thinking about all the lives that converged there. It seems that for just a moment, even if the person died hundreds of years ago, they still exist and still matter, even if only to me.
