I was terrified of the Night Before Christmas and didn't like his version of Batman at all when I was a kid. Don't even get me started on Edward Scissor hands... I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with my little cousin and I didn't think it was that great either. I just saw the clip for his version of Alice in Wonderland and thought that if I were a little kid I'd be terrified of this. I didn't really enjoy his films until I got older but Disney keeps having him do children's movies. Do children enjoy his movies?

my cousins who are between the ages of 3 and 8 aren't allowed to watch Tim Burton movies.

It's weird.

I remember watching Edward Scissorhands when i was young.. saw it a number of times and it just was.. weird. His version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.. also weird. Im glad i grew up watching the old version when i was young. I haven't seen footage of his version of Alice in Wonderland but its a safe bet that too will be more creepy to a kid than what the original cartoon was.

Well first off Burton didnt even direct Nightmare before christmas, so I dont see why everyone keeps saying it is his film. but thats not really the point. I think his films are ok for kids if they understand what is going on, not all of them though.

Obviously, Tim Burton isn't a children's movie director. I just don't understand why he has such a close relationship with Disney. All of his films are dark and somewhat twisted.

He was a writer and a producer I think, for Nightmare Before Christmas and I'm talking about his children's movies. His children movies weirded me out and still do a little lol

I like a couple of his movies, as well. I'm not looking forward to Alice in Wonderland, after seeing the preview. I wish they would have made it more like American McGee's Alice.

The first Tim Burton movie I saw was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and that was when I was 12. I don't remember liking it but I've watched a lot of his other films lately (most recently Sweeney Todd) and I loved all of them. I love the way his movies are dark and surreal. I'm definitely looking forward to Alice in Wonderland.

i like them, honestly they are beautifully made and eye catching, though he seems to put a dark twist to everything that he puts out no matter what it is. even charlie and the chocolate factory had that, eerie... odd... feeling to it. which loved.

Tim Burton films are all the same, though as I was younger I loved his Edward Scissorshands and Nightmare before Christmas. Now the only movie of his that I love his 'Ed Wood' a movie that showed the dedication of him and being very moderate on making fun of him......

I liked Batman Returns when I was little lol. And I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when it came out and I enjoyed that. Same with Little Fish. I don't think its fair to bring Edward Scissor Hands into this - that isn't a kids movie.

It's not really fair to bring Edward Scissor Hands in it. That movie just creeped me the hell out as a kid. But, I'm mainly talking about his kids movies. I can easily see them giving kids nightmares lol

Everyone's saying that Tim Burton films not really for kids because they're a bit too dark, edgy, and sometimes a bit gross . . . However, I think that's exactly why kids may really enjoy them.

I loved his batman films when I was a kid, and I really liked edwards sissorshands, nightmare before x-mas aswell... basicly I think I liked all his movies from I was 8-26 years old ^^

I love the atmosphere, the details and the often cheesy backstages ^^

I loved Edward scissor hands as a teenager. My 4 year old kid likes Charle and the chocolate factory. I like it too and I was a big fan of the original but it didn't stop me liking this one too.

creepy is an underrated emotion :P
