I mean, do they look for stuff on their game? (what people think) Or plant information as rumors? Does someone actually get paid to do it? I think some developers do, if not, theyu should.vatterott
I doubt it. If they want our opinions, they ask for it by mail, e-mail, polls they set up themselves.
Yes, absolutely. Any high-respected Gamespot member could be on the EA pay-list.

They usually have their own forums where they can post stuff and ask for opinions. It wouldn't be a bad idea for them to browse other forums. Maybe Activision is behind all of the "what songs do you want to see in Guitar Hero III" boards. Conanfan1
That would be a good way to satisfy the core gamers.
If I were a developer Id definitly browse all the forums out there in order to get a feel as to what the public actualy thinks of my product.........Public opinion is a valuable tool in the video game industry and it would be mistake not to use this resource. Im not going to go as far as to say they take it all into account, but the forums are more spontaneous than a poll they set up themselves. Pythos77
Good Way to put it. I would pay someone to do it for an hour or two a day. (If I were a developer.)
Some developers post on the IGN boards...though I've never heard of one posting on GS.ff7fan2Nibris did a few times.
they could.. since in advertizements they say site like ign's and gamespots reviews they read the reviews.. they could go on the forums, but they probably won't post anything..
