I was just wondering because cousin told me that he doesn't, but in the city that I live in is very diverse(27% White, 30%Hispanic, 31% Asian, 7%Black, and 5% other) and I love having friends from other races then mines. Do you why or why not?

Why not a friend is a friend.nintendo_fan675Exactly. I don't look for friends from different races anymore then I avoid them.
I don't believe in race.MattUD1
I wish the whole world would believe in this(the world would have been a much better place to live in).

Would believe in the antiquated notion of race or take my stance? Personally, I don't like to see ignorance. I feel it drags us all from our true potential.I love having friends from other races then mines.

To be honest, that's kind of racist, only in the other direction. I'll be friends with someone if I like that person, not because I want to fill a quota of "non-white friends" that I feel I ought to have. Yes, I have a few black and Asian friends, but that has nothing to do with their race. There's nothing shameful about not having friends of another race; if you lived in a place like Vermont (96.7% white) it would be rather normal for that to be the case.

After taking a race course in College, I believe the same thing. It's socially constructed.

I'm aware of the fact that our skin is a different color but I don't care in the slightest.
How's that?
